Since 2004 – Festival of Children`s Creativity «Yangi Avlod» («New Generation»), held annually under auspices of the Fund Forum.
The Festival became a basis for opening of the Children`s Creativity Centers in Tashkent and Samarkand. In this Centers more than 2000 children study in such fields as computer literacy, acting, painting, needlework, singing, dancing, chess and others.
The festival has become a significant model in identifying and further developing the talent of gifted children in Uzbekistan, and provides an opportunity for young talents to express themselves, to be involved in arts, being on one stage with celebrities.
Children`s creative teams and solo performers from 6 to 14 years participate in the festival in such areas as classical music, vocal, national instruments, dance, fine and applied arts, poetry, literature and theatrical scenario.
For seven years about 98 thousand children from all regions of Uzbekistan have attended the Festival. 2986 of them became winners. The laureates of the Festival receive a further support of the Foundation, which facilitates their participation in international festivals and programs.
In 2009 the Festivals grand prix creativity development grants went to three laureates. These were handed by the world-renowned singer Cesaria Evora. It is to be noted that in October this year similar grants were handed to the winners of last years festival winners by pop icon Sting who attended Art Week Style.uz-2009 in Uzbekistan.
The gala-concert turned out to be special for football fans as well thanks to the football celebrity Samuel Eto’o, who handed over a special sponsor package and diplomas to two youth football teams.
This event symbolically launched a new Fund Forum project to provide sponsor support to children's and youth football teams in all parts of the Republic, organize master classes with legendary footballers in an effort to help train successful athletes.
Since 2010, grants have been awarded not only to the Festival winners, but also to heads of music groups.
