"Yil Ayoli" (Woman of the Year) national contest, annually held by the "Women`s Council" Public Association, was first announced in August 2007.
The contest is aimed at encouragement of women, who devote themselves to their families and at the same time making accomplishments in professional life and creativity by their efforts, knowledge and skills.
The contest gives an opportunity to women to express themselves in such fields as handicrafts, flower compositions, culinary and musical skills as well as implement their own social actions within the project.
