The Contest «Kelajak ovozi»


Has been held annually since 2005.

«Kelajak ovozi» – «Voice of the future». Young people aged from 15 till 25 years can take part in the Contest.

Nominations of the contest:

  1. «Architecture and design» (architecture, fashion designing, landscaping and interior designing)
  2. «Information technologies, rationalization proposals and technical projects» (web development and software engineering, technical development and streamlining)
  3. «Traditional, fine and applied arts» (decorative-applied arts, folklore, dancing)
  4. «Literature and journalism» (poetry, prose, essays)

The increase in the number of participants

2005 – about 3000 applications
2006 – about 10 000 applications
2007 – 32 000 applications
2008 – 54 000 applications
2009 – 63 000 applications
2010 – 71 000 applications
2011 – 76 000 applications
2012 – 79 000 applications

Encouraging the winners

Winners, who study at any University when carrying out the contest, get scholarship of «Kelajak ovozi». Winners, who entered universities on contract basis when carrying out the contest, get (within 2 years) Educational grants.

The final

The final of «Kelajak ovozi» contest traditionally takes place at the end of the year in Tashkent as a huge Gala-concert with stars and solemn award ceremony.

Since 2009 the winners give presentations of their projects and answered the questions of experts, public figures and peers. This is an opportunity for them to showcase their skills and mastery.
