"Navruz in parks" is the annual charity event, held by public associations "Women`s Council" timed for the holiday "Navruz" and focused on single and elderly citizens and people with disabilities, as well as children from families in need of social support.
Organization of «Navruz» celebration became a tradition of public association "Women`s Council". In 2007 the holiday "Navruz" gathered 500 families, and in 2008 1000 people have been able to attend the event, where national foods like sumalyak, pilaf were served, and park amusement were free of charge for children. Famous Uzbek singers took part in the event.
