«My flowering city» action, aimed at arrangement of green spaces, brings adults, youth, and children together, and makes possible do useful thing, become heroes of telecast. The organizers: Public Association Jenskoe Sobranie (Womens Assembly) and the TV-Markaz channel.
The actions slogan «Plant a tree and become a hero! » resulted stunning effect - a huge number of people of different ages took up the call. In the framework of the action in Tashkent Uzbek pop stars took part in green alleys laying works, so some green areas automatically received the title of Stars alleys.
Particularly actively participating group was the youth. This is one of the main wishes of the project organizers. In fact, Jenskoe Sobranie being more family than just a women`s organization, tries to engage exactly children in this good project.
At the initiative of Gulnara the «My flowering city» projects author and other members of «Jenskoe Sobranie», one of the alleys was planted with trees, received the symbolic titles of « Tree of Peace », «Tree of Good», «Tree of Friendship», «Tree of Inspiration»...
This is one of the few social projects, which will not end with the official announcement of its completion. Now in many Tashkent courtyard, streets, on territories of certain schools and kindergartens, as well as in parks, small seedlings carefully planted by participants of the «My flowering city» action will stretch to the sun.
