The Program of Scholarships for the Gifted Students, established in may 2006, is directed to encourage talented and active young people studying at 3 and 4 courses.
Distinguished and goal-oriented students get the special scholarship in addition to the ordinary one. Most active of them can get the prolongation of scholarships.
Since 2006, more than 7100 students took part in the contest and 617 of them became winners. 117 of the students get the prolongation. 268 mln soums worth of stipends have been made available.

- I am very glad that I have gained such a great opportunities in my life. I am a bandmaster and love my profession. I had a tour through Uzbekistan with the National Symphony Orchestra, and also performed in France, Ukraine and Russia.
