Child impromptu theater project arose from Gulnara`s idea to stage a children`s musical with participation of Jenskoe Sobranie members? children. According to consensus, it was decided to take the story of legendary Disney animation «Lion King» for the basis of the musical.
This is a cartoon world, which successfully includes everything peculiar to human world: love and betrayal, friendship and subservience. About 50 children started to assume the role, with a memory of all the characteristics of heroes. They divided them into bad and good, kind and evil.
All costumes were created by hand. Musical director was a well known member of Ilkhom Teathre Boris Gafurov. He first had to work with such an unusual and a large group of amateur actors. The eldest of them was 14 and the youngest only 2.
By the end of rehearsals, it was clear that this is more than just a matin?e. The debut of the musical took place in one of the capital`s halls and suddenly aroused great interest among audience. Then one came to idea of touring with the whole troupe through the cities of Uzbekistan.
The tour was not commercial, but charitable. The purpose was to show children from regions and their parents, teachers, who were also invited to show that it is possible to manage staging a real performance and discover talent in every child.
During the tour, little actors had enough time not only for rehearsal, but for the rich cultural program that included excursions through the city and participate in an improvised mini-holiday «Creative children to creative children». This holiday, as an exchange of knowledge and skills, has become a tradition in this tour, and was repeated in every city where musical «Lion King» arrived. There was no child who has not received a prize for showing their abilities, skills and ideas. And most importantly, children from different regions of the country were able to learn about each other and just become friends.
