A social event “Days of Maternal and Child`s Health” was held in January 2009 in Tashkent. The organizers of the project were Public Association “Women`s Council”, Medical Center “Horev” (Israel, Haifa), and capital`s center of family diagnosis.
The action was aimed at diagnosis of women and children under 14. Over 200 people were able to get medical counseling of high-class Israeli clinic “Horev” (pediatrician, ophthalmologist, gastroenterologist, gynecologist, urologist and mammologist).
Also, the leading Israeli doctors conducted lectures and clinical discussions for local professionals. Over 100 medical professionals from Tashkent clinics attended master classes and received certificates of participants.
Round table on the issue of common diseases in support of motherhood and childhood was held with local experts as part of the “Days of Maternal and Child`s Health”, in order to review the projects on the prospects for further cooperation between Israeli and local experts.
