About me

“Rather, I try to give my country a modern air. I am not a supporter of all these stereotypes of a modern woman: “She can, she wants, it is all about her.” My guideline is “If she wants, she can do it.” In our society women have a special place. To preserve these traditions and provide modern opportunities is probably what we should strive for.”

“Despite the impression I make on people in terms of my appearance, in my personal life I am not pretentious. For me, understanding is above all. Mutual understanding. If you have that, you can adapt to any rhythm of life. But to make this happen, you have to go through quests, trials and tribulations, peaks and troughs, work hard on yourself and learn from mistakes.”

“I often have to wear suits. I’m not very fond of them and I often transform them; it’s important for me to make sure that my outfit contains a part of my identity: my shirt or jacket or accessory may be a bit different. This sort of details reveal my individuality.”

“Dinner is something I can’t do without”. I almost never eat meat. Instead, I could do with fish or chicken. I love salads and I usually come up with my own salad ideas. When we eat out, I normally order a salad and dessert, lots of dessert. My friends say: “are you going to have your usual herbs and sugar?! However, my breakfasts are very light: soy-bean shake with blueberries and steamed veggies. My lunch tends to be fragmentary, on the go, and I make sure it includes several glasses of juice”.

“I am not fanatical about make-up. I’m more into medical stuff, creams and oils. I like cosmetics that contain hyaluronan. For my body I use an ordinary cream which I once found in London. It’s pharmaceutical and is based on herbs, wheat and oats. It is sold in practically all drugstores. Very good stuff”.

“… I’ve loved to make things with my own hands since early childhood. Then a time came when I no longer had time for this. But while a student at New York University, where I was polishing my English, I got an opportunity to take extra classes at New York Fashion Institute of Technology. I joined the accessory and jewelry course. After completing it – to my surprise – I got A+ for all the three final works…”

"Wherever I am and whoever I talk to, even during personal trips and meetings, the focus of the conversation would shift on Uzbekistan. Impressed by my stories about Uzbekistan and unaware of my name and status, people would think I am an envoy representing my country. So, my appointment for Geneva just officially fixed this function... For me, being a diplomat is a state of mind accompanied by big responsibilities and worries".

«Apart from everything: I am interested in Ayurveda. The initial question in its studies is "Who are you?" so I was given a definition of a dreamer. But owing to my character I am pragmatic and extremely realistic person, and somewhere deep inside I am that dreamer whose existence only close persons know».

«If my projects pursued only PR-policy they would have been valid only for one occasion, be brighter and glossier so that we were out until the next marathon. In contrast we always live as on a scorching iron because all of our projects have their day to day continuation».

«What is my attitude towards gossips? Gossips are people, people are opinions, and opinions are always subjective. If you are someone`s favorite, then gossips are positive, if not then they are bad gossips. Probably this is inevitable. Moreover some gossips are often spread for some purpose...»

«I am pleased to give an opportunity to talented and inspired people for selfrealization. Many people habitually speak about our potential without faith in these words. I would like everyone who speaks about Uzbekistan to make it with sincerity and open heart».
