Another project by Gulnara Karimova - "National Rarities from the Fund Forum’s Collection" exhibition has been launched at the Center of National Arts in Tashkent. This is the first time the Foundation presents its own collection of rare artifacts to the public.

The exhibition presents about 200 items that belong to late XIX and early XX century. Exhibits represent many kinds of traditional, decorative and applied arts. Mainly these are old fabrics, clothes, and suzanis conveying the whole palette of colors and rich traditions of our people; jewelry by renowned local zargars (jewellers); antique books in Arabic, Uzbek, Old-Uzbek and Russian on history, culture, archeology and art of Uzbekistan, and unique products of coinage. The event attracted the attention of many intellectuals, art and public figures, representatives of the diplomatic corps, journalists and youth.

This exhibition anticipated the opening of the permanent acting National Rarities art exhibition from the collection of the Fund Forum. The exhibition is open since September 5, 2009 at the Palace of Youth Creativity in Tashkent.
