The presentation of the book «Civilizations, Nations, Cultures of Central Asia» by academician Edvard Rtveladze took place on 1st of May. The book is completed and prepared for publication in English with the support of the Fund Forum.
Edvard Rtveladze is an outstanding scholar, historian, author of dozens of articles, that have been translated into many languages. He is an academician of the Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences, Beruni State Prize Winner and holder of the Uzbekistans prestigious order For the Outstanding Services. The book describes the history of civilizations including the Central Asian region, the relations of cultures and religions of different countries in the Eurasian continent. The publication has already been awarded State Prize of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of science and technology. Four chapters of the scientific work cover such aspects as civilizations, states, spiritual culture and migration of cultures. The last chapter describes particularly detailed influence of oriental culture and civilization to the world art.
