On the 12th of February 50 winners of The Annual Republican Pedagogical Grants Program having come from all regions of the country to Tashkent for the award ceremony have received the grants from Gulnara Karimova herself who organized this project in 2006.
This year more than 1000 teachers and school, lyceum, college, university chiefs have participated in this program. The presented at this contest programs, projects included various topics and differed in offering scales: from new developments in introduction of the interactive methods of teaching and creating manuals to the global projects in education system improvement, fundamental scientific research.
This year the Program directions were extended: the directors of educational institutions, rectors and vice-rectors, faculty deans were given grants for the education system development. This action was taken as the aspiration to raise efficiency of the Program and to extend the number of participants and beneficiaries of every single project.
Besides it school, lyceums, college, university teachers traditionally received diplomas and during a school year they will be monthly paid financial benefits.
