Gulnara Karimova inaugurated a newly built kindergarten “Future Generation” in Tashkent during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on December 27. The brand new facility offers all it takes to ensure all-round development for children along with an emphasis on an individual approach to each child. Designed to prepare little attendees for school life, the kindergarten will help develop creative skills and offer four meals a day along with interesting activities.
Besides pre-school training with a focus on teaching grammar, developing reading and speaking skills, and basic English, the kindergarten will also seek to discover children’s creative aptitudes. This will be achieved through facilities such as a workshop for drawing, plasticine modeling and construction toys, music classes and a gym. Other conditions include educational trips, sporting activities, computer literacy classes and interesting leisure through the use of playgrounds, mini parks and a swimming pool.
After a concert which followed the opening ceremony the guests had the opportunity to view the facilities the kindergarten boasts. Winners of Yangi avlod (New generation) Children`s Creativity Festival and Uzbek pop singers were among those who contributed to the concert program.
The kindergarten has a number of partners and friends among public and creative organizations such as children`s creativity centers, the Women`s Council, IJOD Association of Artists, Art Historians and Craftsmen, Kelajak ovozi Youth Initiative Center, the Association of Psychologists of Uzbekistan and the Youth Theater of Uzbekistan among others. These will be involved in the organization of educational classes, thematic holidays and contests, charitable events and sessions to select children for enhanced training programs as well as competitions to select young talents for participation in Yangi avlod Children`s Creativity Festival.
