A new collection of jewelry brand GULI (www.gulicollections.com), as well as charity collection Guli for Chopard was for the first time presented at the BASEL WORLD Watch and Jewellery Show, which took place from 26 March to 2 April, 2009 in Basel (Switzerland).
The collection, made by Chopard on Guli`s sketches was named «Guli for Chopard». Her story began more than a year ago with the mutual interest of two professional artists and inspired women. Caroline, as a true connoisseur, showed an interest in elegant and original products by Guli. Especially she was inspired by «Stylized Heart», coincided with a major jewelry images by Chopard.
Funds from the sale of this collection will be used to support the young winners of «Yangi Avlod» ( «New generation»), the Festival founded by Gulnara Karimova. Within the five years of existence, the festival spread to over 50 thousand talented children throughout Uzbekistan. It involved children aged from 6 to 14, regardless of social status and vocational training. The winners continue to receive support for development their abilities: grants, opportunity of further professional education and acting on the big stage.
