Fund Forum`s Annual Online Report Conference

In keeping with tradition, the Fund Forum summed up its activities throughout 2009 in the format of an online report conference. Internet users questions were answered by the author and organizer of the projects Gulnara Karimova and other representatives of the Fund Forum as well as culture and arts professionals, famous pop singers, actors, public figures, prominent athletes and the winners of the Fund Forums projects and programs in a word, all those who worked throughout the year to contribute to the Organizations activities and participated successfully in its projects.

The online conference is a modern and effective way of rounding up yearly activities. Every year the Fund provides a report on accomplished activities through a real-time dialog with the public on www.on-line.uz website. This year the online conference took place on December 26 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Tashkents Youth Creativity Palace. Roughly 2,000 questions about the Funds activities and its partner organizations were posted during the online conference (more on www.fundforum.uz).

The online conference included discussions in four directions (international cooperation, culture and arts, youth, and charity) which allowed culture and arts professionals, singers, officials of international and nongovernmental organizations, and young people to discuss a host of issues and talk about projects for the new year. Around 200 people participated in the conference.

As was noted by a number of project participants, the Fund Forum`s online conference allowed many creative personalities to come together, exchange opinions and discuss interesting ideas. For pop stars, it is also an excellent opportunity to converse with fans online. In sum, the participants noted that the format of the conference was unusual and that it is an extraordinary way of summing up an outgoing year. For the representatives of the Fund Forum, the conference is seen as an opportunity to learn of the opinions held by culture and art figures as well as project participants, to assess the results of accomplished work, and to determine tasks for the future.
