Participation by Gulnara Karimova in Cinema Against AIDS charitable evening, organized annually by amfAR as part of the Cannes Film Festival, has become a tradition, which contributes to efforts to attract international attention to the problem and research in this area and, most importantly, to raise funds in support of amfAR.
This year Gulnara Karimova was invited by amfAR to co-chair the charitable event in view of the activities of the foundations she oversees and the campaigns she organizes in conjunction with international foundations such as the USAID.
With actor Gerard Butler and designer Kenneth Cole at Cinema Against AIDS gala of amfAR Foundation for AIDS Research, where the Fund Forum participated as a donor (The 63rd Cannes Film Festival, France)
Joint youth project dedicated to the fight against HIV/AIDS implemented by the SISF, headed by Gulnara, and USAID
This year the star-studded fundraising event featured actors Chris Tucker, Russell Crowe, Gerard Butler, Benicio Del Toro, singers Mary J. Blige, Mark Anthony and Jennifer Lopez, among others.
