A new Guli clothing collection consisting of 20 looks and Guli jewelry line were presented on May 12 in Tashkent Chimes - The Center of Time complex within Dom Stilyas spring / summer 2010 fashion show. Guests of the show, among them representatives of foreign fashion-industry, called the Guli collection "haute couture". Models feature - impeccable quality and successful modern interpretation of national fabric (shoyi, silk, satin, etc.), using stylized national patterns in embroidery, unusual design of printed cloth, decorative glass (kuzmunchok) and know-how - handwoven silk and jersey. Completeness of each model image in the collection was maintained by the author's skillful use of accessories and shoes and, of course, unique jewelry from Guli collection.
The show was attended by such foreign guests as the Italian designer Countess Marta Marzotto, famous photographers from Italy, Massimo Gatti («Vanity Fair») and Kohli, Edward Lucas («Io Donna»), editor in chief of ELLE Elena Sotnikova (Russia), Director of HFS Publishing House in St. Petersburg Nadejda Kozhevnikov, and many other guests from Russia, Belgium, USA, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations in Uzbekistan.
The guests did not stint their enthusiastic reviews: "Splendidly beautiful, wonderful combination of silver, gold and carved wood!" - Countess March Marzotto commented one of the bracelets from the Guli new jewelry line.
Besides, Dom Stilyas 12 young designers participated in the fashion show with their collections in the first part of the conceptual show, called In Another Way. Pret-a-porte in many different variations of silk, chiffon, jersey, denim and traditional fabrics dominated in the part of the fashion show.
