On March 5, Tashkent State Theater of Music Comedy hosted a concert dedicated to the International Women`s Day, March 8. The concert was organized by the Fund Forum, the Women`s Council, “In the Name of Life” National Breast Cancer Association and Mehr nuri Charitable Foundation – organizations headed by Gulnara Karimova – and Aladdin Studio.
Among the guests were participants of the grant programs launched by the foundations that organized the concert: teachers, women-entrepreneurs and farmers.
The main participants of the concert in honor of women have been talented children aged 6-25 of Aladdin Studio. Over the past few years nine trainees of the studio have come out winners of Yangi avlod (New generation) Children`s Creativity Festival, another 38 have become laureates of various international contests and several have participated in the staging of two musicals, “Island of Dreams” and “Home Alone”, which have been shown across the country.
Pop starts who also extended congratulations to the women included Raikhon, Bojalar group, Samandar, Sardor Rakhimkhon, Murod Rajabov, Durdona group as well as actors of Mukimiy Theater.
On March 7 and 8, the Fund Forum, Mehr nuri Foundation, the Women`s Council and its regional offices will congratulate over 600 women and provide aid in the form of foodstuffs and sweets.
